One-room schools historically serve as a community-gathering place as well as the hub of education. It is our desire to see that the Bennett School maintains this historical place in the community. In order to provide the financial means for the upkeep of the school and to offset the costs of opening it, the following fee structure has been adopted. The facility includes the classroom area and a modern kitchen and multi purpose room in the basement.

Reservations - Are Required. Please call 515-225-1286 to schedule and make arrangements.
Morning, afternoon an evening hours are available.

Restrictions Apply - As to allowable functions.

Note: The Bennett School is open to the public on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., May through September and is not available during these times.

Rental Fees
General Public		$50 covers rental for up to four hours.
		$15 each additional hour
		$15 cleaning and maintenance fee
West Des Moines Community School District Schools		No charge
School Programs other than West Des Moines Community School District		$35 for up to four hours.
		Other fees are the same as for the general public (see above).
West Des Moines Community Education		$35 covers rental for up to four hours.
		Other fees are the same as for the general public (see above).
Facility Tours		$3.00 per individual 12 years of age and older
		$1.00 per child under 12.
		$20 minimum applies to above individual charges.

Space and Capacity - 50 people

Food and drink - are allowed.

No alcohol - is allowed on the site or on the adjacent school property.
